Critical Design Lab endeavors to provide mentorship and participation opportunities that are not typically on offer in traditional academic training programs or lab settings. The positions available each year correspond to specific projects. Typically, we work with students, community scholars, artists, and designers. These positions are not usually for faculty or professors.

• Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Critical Design Lab (1 position): One position available for someone who will have a PhD completed by May 2024 (or in the previous seven years). *(Applications closed)*

• Mellon Community Fellowships in the Critical Design Lab (2 positions): Two positions available to candidates who are artists, activists, designers, cultural workers, access workers, and/or community scholars who do not have a formal academic affiliation. *(Applications closed)*
